Artist:Edwin McSwine

Oscar Wilde said, “The moment you think you understand a great work of art, it’s dead for you.”— I believe this to be true.  I don’t know what Mr. McSwine’s creative process is.  I don’t pretend to understand how he came about these pieces conceptually.  I only know that I’m glad they were there to inspire him and whatever magic and mojo that paints profound along his brush I hear my ancestors.  I see life and there is peace and surrender, mystery and heartache.  In his images, there is joy.  If you don’t know about him, make your rounds.  Additional information is listed below [cont’d. reading]… it doesn’t hurt that the man is ill enough to be “googleable”.  Tax season is approaching, maybe you should invest in something that won’t depreciate.  It’s time we leave our legacies something to inherit besides debt.  That is how we build on ourselves.  Most people who have wealth, it is because they inherited wealth.  We take the small steps so that future generations may leap!
