… regarding Strength

Not a day goes by that I don’t realize,
-That it was me-
Stitchin the open wounds of my over exposed heart,
Back together-
Over and over again.
…With a rusty little needle and tooth floss.
But I sit and think,
Reflect and see,
That the needle was made from gold,
And the string was molded from hope-
And I am stronger than I was before.
